sound update? - Guild Wars Forums

i was recently in ab and noticed that the subwoofer on my speakers was really shaking my desk and noticed an echo kind of sound added. you can also now hear battles taking place far away from where you are and with great detail....was this an update or was i not paying attention?

Something changed with the sound at least. Alt+tabbing out of Guild Wars no longer mutes the sound for me.

You can turn that on/off in the options under the sound tab. BTW, I experienced no changes, but maybe that's because I don't have a Home Cinema System on my computer.

i dont have a home cinema, i have 2 speakers and a subwoofer the size of a tissue box =P

I didn't change that setting. Before the update it worked, after it doesn't.
